The court heard that at 6.10pm a hit and run collision happened at Dill Avenue. There was damage to the rear offside corner of a lorry.

Police were given information that the defendant was intoxicated and he was located while trying to walk towards Lurgan Park.

An evidential breath test gave a reading of 119.

Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said Marauskas panicked because he had a large amount of alcohol in his system and drove a short distance away.
