Car reversed over man’s foot in town
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an incident in which a car reversed over a man’s foot in the town centre.
Constable Kris King of Craigavon police explained: “Around 3pm on Tuesday, November 4, a silver Saloon car reversed over the foot of a 61-year-old man in Market/High Street area of Lurgan. “The man was assisted by passers by and taken home by a nurse who also checked his foot.”
It was stressed the driver had stpped: “The driver of the car also checked on the man’s wellbeing.
“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it.
“We can be contacted in Lurgan on the 101 number.”
