Car stolen

POLICE received a report of a car being stolen from Rockend, Corkey, between 10pm on Wednesday May 25 and the early hours of Thursday May 26.

The blue Peugeot 306 was involved in a ‘hit and run’ collision in the Clough area and was recovered, badly damaged, at Ballygarvey Road, Ballymena, on Thursday.

POLICE seized a Vauxhall Astra car at Finvoy Road, Ballymoney, because it was uninsured.

Man arrested

A 24-YEAR-OLD man was arrested at Townhill Road, Rasharkin, for making threats to kill and making malicious phone calls. He was released on bail to return to a Police Station on June 13.

Driving incident

A 22-YEAR-OLD man was spoken to by police in relation to alleged dangerous driving at Portrush Road, Ballymoney. A report has been prepared for the Public Prosecution Service.

Criminal damage

POLICE in Ballymoney are appealing for information after a report of criminal damage at the Kilraughts Road area close to The Drones on Tuesday May 24.

Shortly after 4:30am, it was reported that stones were thrown at a front door of a house in the area. Two unknown males were reported close to the house after the incident.

Anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area or who has any information is asked to contact police in Ballymoney on 08456008000. Bike stolen

A CHILD’S BMX bike with black stunt pegs and black and green stickers, was stolen from the front of a house at Raceview Drive, Ballymoney some time on the weekend of May 21/22. Contact police on 08456008000 or Crimestoppers 0800555111.

Assault appeal

POLICE are appealing for information from the public in relation to an assault at premises on Bridge Road, Dunloy, around 3am on April 24.
