Car stolen during burglary in Lisburn

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a burglary in the Woodview area of Lisburn.

Detective Constable Ruth Gallagher said : “It was reported that between the hours of 4.30pm and 5.15pm on Sunday, November 13, entry was gained to a residential premises and car key were stolen. As a result, a silver Ford Mondeo was taken from the drive way.

He added: “We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnesses any suspicious activity in the area to contact the Reactive and Organised Crime Branch at Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1061 on 13/11/16.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
