Car vandalised in Ballyclare

Police are appealing for information following reports of a car being vandalised three times in the past week in the Grange Estate, Ballyclare.

The incidents were reported to the police yesterday (Monday).

A PSNI spokesman said: “On Wednesday, March 30, a screw was placed on a tyre, puncturing it. On Sunday, April 3 another tyre was punctured by a screw.

“Then sometime between the evening of Sunday, April 3 and the morning of Monday, April 4, a stanley blade was used to cause damage to another tyre.”

The police are urging anyone with any information about these incidents to contact Newtownabbey Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
