Car was said to be in a dangerous condition

When police stopped a vehicle they found that because of defects it was in a dangerous condition to drive.

Conor Campbell (22), Ballynamoney Road, Lurgan, was fined £200 last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for using a vehicle which was in a dangerous condition on October 8 last year. He was also banned from driving for three months.

The court heard that the vehicle had defective steering, the passenger seat anchor was defective, the windscreen wiper was defective and two tyres were defective. A solicitor said the defects were subsequently mended and the car sold on.
