Care in Crisis refurbished

A NEWLY refurbished counselling centre has opened in Union Street.

Mayor Alan Carson opened the premises of Care in Crisis, a local charity founded over seventeen years ago.

The organisation offers a professional therapeutic counselling service to individuals, couples and families experiencing a range of problems and difficulties.

The charity has more than 20 counsellors to help people with their problems.

In recognition of their professionalism, several volunteers have been recipients of the Craigavon ‘Mayor’s Award for voluntary service to the community’.

The centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Evenings are by appointment only.

Counselling is offered without charge to people using the centre.

Care in Crisis is a registered charity and relies on public and private donations, all of which are greatly appreciated.
