CarFest goes from strength to strength

THE Country Garage Irish Open 105kg of Europe’s Strongest Man Qualifier will be held at Ballymena Carfest on Saturday, June 8.

Joel Martin (Peak Physique), Dave Warner (Giants Live), Jim McIlwaine (The Country Garage) and Derek Fullerton (Ballymena Carfest).

Athletes from all over Europe will compete to find a winner who will participate in the televised ‘Europe’s Stsrongest Man U105kg’ taking place this year.

A big prize fund and superb trophies will attract the best and promises a battle of ‘epic proportions’.

This spectacular contest being held at Ballymena Carfest will be a fantastic family event with fun for everyone.

Spectators can see strong men pulling a Scania truck with a harness, lifting a BMW car, Axle press for reps, carrying a quad bike as far as possible, getting to grips with Atlas stones and more.

Their shows of strength and all the usual Carfest action can be seen at Ballee Playing Fields on June 8.
