Carmel braves the heights for Cedar Foundation

A Castlerock woman did an abseil down the Europa Hotel in Belfast to raise money for The Cedar Foundation.

Fearless Carmel Young said: “I supported Cedar because I have worked with people who have suffered head and brain injuries.

“I found the experience terrifying and very challenging, however the wind and rain didn’t dampen the spirits and I can’t wait to see what the next challenge is going to be”.

Christine Tweedie from Cedar said “Congratulations to Carmel for taking part in the abseil, she raised a fantastic amount of money for Cedar. We are very pleased with her courageous efforts and would like to thank her for taking the plunge”.

The Cedar Foundation delivers services to support children and adults with disabilities.
