Carnlough children create smiles with tiles

pupils of St John’s Primary School and Carnlough Integrated Primary School enjoyed putting their artistic talents to good use with the creation of the new Beachlands play park mosaic.

The newly-unveiled mosaic was funded as part of the Northern Arc cross-border project which is funded by the International Fund for Ireland. Additional funding came from Carnlough Community Association and the Glenlough Multi-Sports Play Group.

Artist Pauline Matthew, assisted by Laura O’Hare and Larne Borough Council, helped to bring the mosaic project to fruition.
