The area underwent a facelift, with The Alpha Programme contributing £50,000 to the scheme.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Councillor Thomas Hogg was joined at the unveiling ceremony by MLA Pam Cameron, Patrick Cregg from the Woodland Trust, Mel Waddell from Groundwork NI and Jo Boylan, who was representing the Belfast Hills Partnership.
