During the four-day competition, the team will compete against seven established club sides from across the UK.

Head coach Paul Burns commented: “Win, lose or draw, the experience for these guys will be tremendous and the trip is something which everyone connected with our club is looking forward to.

“I would like to thank John J. Doyle & Co, Belfast for kindly sponsoring new kits and tracksuits for the boys to wear at the festival.”

The trip is testament to how far Carnmoney FDC has come in only their second season, and thanks have been expressed to the Management Committee who have fundraised tirelessly to provide all the players with free travel and accommodation during their trip to Ayr.
