Carol service earnscouncillor’s praise

DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart has praised Banbridge Orange for a very successful carol service recently held in their Orange Hall.

Over 80 people attended the event, including the Member of Parliament David Simpson.

Councillor Lockhart said, “I thoroughly enjoyed Banbridge Orange’s Annual Carol Service with the Rev Hutton leading the worship and Seapatrick band leading the carol singing.

“It was a very fitting service prior to Christmas and was an opportunity for many to gather to enjoy some carol singing and the reading of the scriptures.

“At the event there was also money raised for the Lord Enniskillen Memorial Fund. I would commend Mr Philip Hutton and all those involved in the organising of the event.

“It certainly does demonstrate a real community spirit at this Christmas time.”
