Carrick-based IPC Mouldings honoured with excellence award

IPC Mouldings (IPC) received an EFQM Recognised for Excellence award at the ceremony in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, Bangor.

Organised by the Centre for Competitiveness (CforC), the awards honour organisations that demonstrate excellence in their overall performance.

Operating from a 14,000 sq ft location at Kilroot, IPC Mouldings is an AS9100 accredited provider of technical solutions for global industries, using advanced engineering polymers and processing techniques. In November last year, it was awarded SC21 Bronze in the B/E Aerospace Supply Chain Programme.

Joanne Liddle, managing director at IPC, said: “This recognition is excellent news for IPC as it reaffirms our professional practice. In addition, the recognition for excellence award has also helped us to discover learning and improvement opportunities – which is extremely helpful from a business development perspective.”

Supported by the Department of Finance and Personnel, Capita, and NIE Networks, the EFQM Ireland Excellence Awards accreditation falls into three categories, with IPC achieving 3 Star ‘Recognised for Excellence’ acknowledgment.
