Neal Somerville, Sea Cadet development worker said: “This was a great opportunity for young people to get involved with a major event, and to have the Tall Ships back in Northern Ireland again has created a great atmosphere for the cadets as they prepared for the event.

“The cadets and staff have had a great time in Belfast, and we hope that this will help to show other young people what they too could gain from being involved with the Sea Cadets.”

Sea Cadet units across the Northern Ireland are currently recruiting young people aged between 10-18 and volunteers. To find your nearest unit go to www.sea-cadets.org
