The cash was discovered on Sunday, April 3 at approximately 7.30pm.
The finder has notified the Police in Ballymoney who have all the details.
He explained to the Times: “Could you put a small notice in the Ballymoney Times to say a sum of money was found outside Tesco, Ballymoney and that PSNI have details in order that the owner may claim it?”
