Castledawson: Tour of newly refurbished Manse
Last Saturday, many took advantage when members from the congregations of Curran and Castledawson Presbyterian churches were invited to have a look round the newly refurbished Manse.
Some considerable work has been carried out to the listed building, which was originally Shanemullagh House, home of the famous Gaussen family, over the past months.
Indeed, thanks is offered to those who did voluntary work, the trades, everyone who cleaned inside also power washed and cleared up in the grounds thus helping to transform the Manse into a modern and comfortable home for the forthcoming Mullan family.
