Castlerock Community Association Walking Festival

CASTLEROCK Community Association will be hosting their first walking festival on September 18 and 19 which will allow walkers the chance to have a guided tour through Binevenagh's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

With routes taking you through some of the North Coast’s most magnificent scenery, it won’t just be the walking that takes your breath away.

There will be two walks each day catering for different abilities as well as a family walk on the Saturday which is especially for children.

Transport to and from the walks from the Peter Thompson Hall will be provided as well as light refreshments for the walkers on their return.

While enjoying the light refreshments, walkers will also be able to view an exhibition of local children’s photographs of the AONB and enjoy musical entertainment.

The walks are designed for those of a reasonable fitness and appropriate walking clothing and footwear as well as a packed lunch is required. No dogs will be allowed on the walk.

Registration for all walks begins at 9am in the Peter Thompson Hall, Castlerock.
