Cathal lands 14lb salmon on Moyola River

IT is now successive Moyola Angling Club wins for Philip Maguire who secured first place in the annual Jack Lennox Cup competition.

Again lure fishing, this takes the victor hot on the heels of the leaders in the league table. In second place was Tommy McGrath on the fly,and just one ounce behind in third , and only after a triple recount, came Pat Harkin.

It was good to see a fine turnout of junior members in this event and the best of these proved to be Eimear McClenaghan, who managed to get the better of her father,Wesley, on this particular occasion!
