LAST week's Wednesday competition results for the ladies of Faughan Valley Golf Club saw Catherine O'Neill (21) take the honours with 39 points.

Marion Sayers, on 38 points secured second sport while Elaine Steenson’s 37 points total was enough to seal third. Results for the Ladies Open Day are as follows:

Juveniles 1st David Devine, Faughan Valley (6)

Men’s - 1st Brendan Carton FVGC 42 points (25); 2nd Trevor Peace FVGC 37 points (12); 3rd Dominic McFeely FVGC 36 points (14).

Front 9 - Frances McLaughlin COD

Back 9 - Marion Sayers FVGC

Longest Drive - Faye McGrotty, Foyle.

Nearest the Pin - Helen Gallanagh

Gross Ladies - Mary McArthur, Redcastle 88 gross (20)

Ladies 1st Phillipa Porter Bincrana, 41 points (34); 2nd Eillen Robb FVGC 40 points (19); 3rd Gladys Curtis, Redcastle 40 (27).

It was a really successful day, the weather was fantastic and everyone enjoyed themselves.
