Caught driving without insurance
Six penalty points were imposed on a 26-year-old man last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for driving without insurance on February 12 this year.
Kieran Noel Edward Corey, whose address was given as Albert Avenue, Lurgan, was also fined £200 for the offence.
For not having a vehicle test certificate he was fined £75 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard the offences came to light when he was stopped driving a van on the Lough Road in Lurgan.
Corey, who pleaded guilty himself, said he had only been collecting the van.
