Caught on CCTV: Shoplifters hid goods under their skirts

The three females were today arrested for theft after CityWatch CCTV Operators observed them acting suspiciously in the Lisburn City Centre area.

On Citywatch Facebook page, they posted: “One of the females was then identified by staff from a local store as being involved in a theft at their store last week.

“Police were informed and on route when CCTV staff observed the three females leave another store and then produce items from under their skirts like something from a cheap Benidorm magic show, you know the one that I mean.

“They then disposed of the hangers and labels in a nearby bin. Police were informed of this and the females were arrested for theft.”
