The weather was poor and it was raining heavily when the defendant drove out of the Tesco entrance and collided with the injured party’s vehicle.

Kolodziejczyk attended at the police station and made a full admission. Both drivers were shaken by the accident but they were not injured. Both cars were written off.

Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said his client accepted responsibility when he spoke to police.

He added that the weather played a part in the accident because the conditions were very poor.
