Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust gets funding

At last Tuesday night’s meeting, members agreed to the funding for 2012/13.

Chairman of the Trust, Bill Harpur and Maxime Sizaret, Acting Chief Executive, were in attendance to give a presentation on the work carried out by the Trust who develop the three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - Binevenagh, the Causeway Coast and the Glens of Antrim.

The main focus of the Trust is to develop awareness of environmental management and to promote sustainable tourism.

In previous years the Trust has managed the delivery of funding which helped deliver a significant amount of product in the Coleraine area such as the Watersports Centre and several environmental improvement schemes.
