Caw roundabout review welcomed

The effectiveness large roundabout at Caw, which bridges Limavady Road, Crescent Link expressway and the Foyle Bridge, is to be reviewed.

The announcement that DoE Road Service is currently reviewing options for improving capacity and safety at the Caw Roundabout has been welcomed by the Mayor, Martin Reilly.

The news comes following concerns expressed by the Mayor to the DoE in relation to safety issues at this busy junction.

The Mayor said he welcomed the DoE’s prompt response to his correspondence and that their decision to review the current traffic management arrangements at Caw Roundabout in light of the concerns expressed.
