CCTV approved for Desertcreat Community Safety College - yet plans look doomed
Cookstown Council has approved a PSNI request for CCTV on Lindesayville Road near their Desertcreat site .
The camera, which police said is ‘for land surveillance’, was also approved by planners.
A police spokesperson said: “The camera is being proposed for security of the property... it is on land close to the proposed college.
“There is no timescale for when this will be mounted.”
