CCTV logs 54 incidents

Over the course of seven days 54 incidents were logged by CCTV Operators in Lisburn.

Incidents included persons/youths causing annoyance and one fixed penalty ticket was issued for theft.

Eight people were also arrested for numerous offences including Disorderly Behaviour, Common Assault, Criminal Damage, Driving with Excess Alcohol and Possession of an article with a Blade or Point.

Two people were also to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for Possession of Class A drugs.

In addition, there were a total of 39 sightings logged of known offenders and suspicious persons in the local area.
