Celebrate 50 years of Mourne Mountain Rescue Team

WERE you a past member of the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team? A casualty that has been rescued? Or a supporter of the team?

Then you are invited to gather with the team to celebrate 50 years of mountain rescue in the Mourne area.

Tickets are now available to purchase for an evening of celebration to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team. The event will take place at the Burrendale Hotel, Country Club and Spa, Newcastle, Co. Down on Friday April 13.

Proceedings shall commence with a drinks reception at 7pm sharp followed by a four course meal at 8pm - a programme of the evenings events will be issued to you upon your arrival.

If you would like to join with the team to celebrate this historic milestone, tickets can be purchased online through their JustGiving site - www.justgiving.com/mmrt50

Tickets can also be purchased by emailing [email protected], stating the name and numbers of those attending. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Mourne Mountain Rescue Team’ and posted to Jeremy Purdy, 10 Monree Hill. Donaghcloney, Co. Down BT66 7GY. At this stage the organisers would also be grateful if you can inform them of any special access and/or dietary requirements.
