Celebrate centenary

LURGAN Show Society invite you to enter your vintage/ classic vehicle in this year’s annual agricultural and equestrian show.

2012 is a special year for the society as they celebrate their Centenary and hence a special call is made for veteran vehicles to come along and help celebrate the past 100 years.

The venue is Lurgan Park on Saturday, June 2.

The static display is open to all vintage, classic cars, lorries, tractors, motorbikes, cycles, stationary engines, American, customised and modified vehicles.

The entry fee is only £5 per vehicle which includes two admission passes to the show and a specially commissioned and limited edition china butterdish for the first one hundred entries.

In addition to the vehicle display, agricultural and equestrian displays, side shows and country crafts will also be on show and this all taking place within the wonderful back drop of Lurgan Park.

This is guaranteed to be a great family day out in what is Ireland’s only Green Flag awarded Public Park.

All vehicles should enter the Showgrounds via Windsor Avenue which is accessed from the town centre.

Entry forms are available from the section secretary Mr John Harrison on 0785 500 7746 or why not text your name and address for an entry form. Alternatively log onto www.blearyruralcommunity.com and download a form.
