Celebration of travel and tourism event

A SELECTION of businesses from the Mid Ulster and East Tyrone area have attended Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of travel and tourism event.

Exhibitors from Cookstown Caravans, MPB Decking Magherafelt, Northern View Caravans, Cookstown and Clogher Valley Country Caravan Park took part in the event which was held recently at the King’s Hall in Belfast

One of television’s favourite bad boys, Tom Lister, who played the ill-fated Carl King in ‘Emmerdale’ joined globe-trotting bargain hunters to open the annual Belfast Telegraph Holiday World show.

As Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of travel and tourism, now in its 21st year, the show once again proved to be an escapists’ dream, showcasing breaks and vacations at home and abroad and hosting the Province’s biggest caravan and motorhomes show.

This year savvy travellers discovered a distinct focus on keen prices and added value, together with insider advice on a myriad of options. Plus, the new Honeymoon & Wedding Destinations Pavilion was a welcome addition to the show’s key attractions which include the popular Cruise Pavilion and Caravan & Motorhome Show.
