The celebration will begin at 8pm and will include a parade and service.

The evening will begin with a short parade by Quilly True Blues LOL 442 and guests, including officers of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland.

Upon their return to the Hall, there will be a short service and re-dedication of the Hall by Rev Nigel Kane, Minister of Magherally Presbyterian Church; and will conclude with a supper in the Hall for all those in attendance.

Secretary of the Lodge, Brian Roulston, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating 125 years of the Hall. The building has had several modernisations down through the years and in recent times has undergone extensive renovation works, just completed in 2015.

“The Hall is however more than just a building.

“It provides a meeting point for various organisations and community groups; it regularly hosts events for the entire community including musical tuition, quiz nights, treasure hunts and breakfasts.

“Last year it hosted its first community carol service.

“We would therefore invite everyone from the local area to join with us at this special evening, as we celebrate the first 125 years and look forward to the next 125 years.”
