Celebrations for NRC trainees and apprentices

THE achievements of Northern Regional College's trainees and apprentices have been recognised at a Celebration Event at the College's Ballymena campus.

The event was particularly special this year as for the first time NRC brought together trainees from across the different campuses and presented 'Shooting Star' awards to those who have particularly achieved under these DEL (Department for Employment and Learning) funded programmes .

Deputy Director of Support & Development, Dr Catherine O'Mullan said, "The College is one of the largest recognized training organizations in Northern Ireland with in excess of a 1,000 trainees and apprentices who enjoy training courses delivered to the highest standards by highly qualified and skilled staff. For several years our apprentices have taken part in regional, national and international Skills Competitions where their skills have been recognized by awards. "
