Centra, Ballymoney wins big Industry awards

AS consumers and businesses wake up to the full extent of the Government's Comprehensive Spending Review, Northern Ireland's independent retailers have proven once again that they have the formula for business success at the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards 2010.

Sponsored by Bank of Ireland, the 12th annual Neighbourhood Retailer Awards was a huge success last Friday and saw more than 350 retailers from across the province attend the gala dinner at Belfast’s Ramada Hotel, along with First Minister Peter Robinson - who was just back from a trade mission in Washington DC.

Campbell's Pharmacy, Portrush was among the evening’s winner picking up the award for Pharmacy of the Year, sponsored by Galway Living. Centra, Ballymoney was named as a finalist in the Deli of the Year category, sponsored by Carrolls Cuisine,
