Chairperson praises Antrim U-21 hurlers
THE Sinn Fein Chairperson of Moyle District Council has congratulated the Antrim U-21 hurling team which has reached the All-Ireland Final and wished them well against Clare this Saturday, September 14.
She said several members of the team are from the area.
She also praised Cushendall’s Terence McNaughton and Ballycastle’s Dessie Donnelly, who were honoured at the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final on Sunday as part of a ‘Stars of the 80s’ side.
She said it was an outstanding achievement that out of a team of 15, two members came from the Moyle area.
