It is the official publication of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and it will be accessible via the Chamber of Commerce website https://www.londonderrychamber.co.uk/home as well as being delivered across a range of multi-media platforms through our key regional stakeholders in the region.

Sinead McLaughlin, chief executive of Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, said the launch illustrated the Chamber’s commitment to meet the needs of members and to make the organisation’s voice heard.

“We hope the magazine will soon become a part of the recognised fabric of the local business scene. One of the main aims of the publication is to provide a new vehicle for local businesses to tell people just how good they are and so to increase revenues for the local economy. It is all about our businesses within the region being CONNECTED.

“We are also launching a digital version of the magazine, which is being sponsored by the EURES Cross Border Partnership and we will looking to have a large digital footprint of 20,000, including an ambition to reach our diaspora throughout the world.”

Gerry Kindlon, Chamber President, said: “CONNECTED will deliver positive messages about the north west region being open for business and connected. It is an informative magazine that will endeavour to keep the business community informed of regional developments and lobbying activities that are helping to support the commercial life of the region.

“The magazine also offers a vibrant blend of topical, intelligent feature articles, essential business news, general advice pieces and interviews,” he said.

“It will reflect the passion, innovation and business that is taking place across this region each and every day. We intend to engage across Donegal, Derry, and Strabane, connecting with other businesses beyond the city to demonstrate that we are a thriving, exciting and connected region.”

The launch of the magazine took place on Friday at North West Science Park.
