Chamber of Commerce host Annual Dinner

Mrs Belinda O’Neill, President of Lisburn Chamber was delighted to welcome the First Minister Peter Robinson MLA as Guest Speaker at the 53rd Annual Dinner on Thursday 6 November at Larchfield Estate attended by a large number of businesses in the Lisburn Council Area.

President, Mrs O’Neill in welcoming guests emphasized that collaboration and teamwork remains at the core of the Chamber and its work.

In highlighting the events over the past year the emphasis was very much that as the third largest city in Northern Ireland Lisburn is a city that is open for business.

First Minister Peter Robinson MLA was interviewed by Mr John Daly and provided a unique insight into private sector growth, the importance of locally owned businesses and the future of the Assembly in relation to the current budgetary situation. Guests were also able to hear from Mr Jeffrey Donaldson, MP and The Mayor, Cllr Andrew Ewing.

The entertainment was provided by Dana Masters jazz soloist to round off a most enjoyable evening.
