Chamber support for Stepping Stones

OVER one hundred local business people joined together recently to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce and at the same time raise money to support vital services for local people with learning disabilities and learning difficulties.

The event, which was hosted by Gene Fitzpatrick who was joined by rugby star Stephen Ferris, raised money for local charity Stepping Stones.

President Richard Knox said: “I am delighted to be in the position of being able to help such a wonderful charity that supports people with learning disabilities through training into work. Stepping Stones helps some of the most vulnerable people in Lisburn and as local employers we should be supporting them to do this.”
