Changes to opening times at local libraries

Newtownabbey’s local libraries will be operating new opening hours from Monday, November 2.

Following a public consultation process, Libraries NI has confirmed the new pattern of opening hours for each of the four libraries.

The new weekly timetables are as follows: Ballyclare - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Tuesday 12.30pm - 8pm, Thursday 12.30pm - 5.30pm, Saturday 9.30am - 1pm.

Cloughfern - Closed Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Tuesday 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm, Thursday and Saturday 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm.

Glengormley - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Thursday 9.30am - 8pm, Saturday 9.30am - 5pm.

Rathcoole - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am - 1pm and 1.30pm - 5.15pm, Friday 1.30pm - 5pm, Saturday 9.30am - 12pm.

Customers across the network of 98 public libraries helped to identify and agree the most suitable pattern of opening hours for each library.
