Changes to postal routes

ROYAL Mail has made changes to the way it makes deliveries in the Larne area.

Fewer letters and more larger packages have prompted the revision in the BT40 1-3 postcodes.

It means that mail may be received earlier or later than has been the case, but in any event postal workers continue to deliver in the morning and for a longer period during the day to ensure that all mail is delivered by lunchtime.

Royal Mail’s collections and delivery director Tom O’Kane said: “We are proud of the high regard in which our postmen and women are held in Larne. The changes to delivery routes will mean that a member of our local and experienced team will still be delivering to our customers in Larne.”

“The local delivery team and I are fully committed to providing a high quality of service that is as reliable and friendly as customers have come to expect from Royal Mail in Larne over many years.”
