Lisburn School of Music has begun a new initiative to honour one of their most outstanding pupils each month.

This month the local school is singing the praises of Chantelle McAteer, who has been named Pupil of the Month.

The Principal of Lisburn School of Music, Mr Stephen McLoughlin, said that Chantelle was more than deserving of the ‘Pupil of the Month’ title.

“Chantelle has not only has grown from a complete beginner to achieving her diploma in Music Theatre, she has also grown to be a seasoned performer including success in many local and national talent competitions and more recently performing in O2 Arena with her country band ‘The Rising’,” said Mr McLoughlin. We are very proud of all Chantelle’s work as an ambassador of Lisburn School of Music. She is another rising Lisburn star.”
