Charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on man

Alexander James Turkington, Meadowvale, Waringstown, is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on a man on August 30 last year.

He is also charged with having been released on bail on September 14 last year he failed to answer bail as soon as was reasonable.

A police officer said he believed he could connect the accused to the charges.

A public prosecutor said that there was medical evidence and CCTV outstanding and asked for a six week adjournment until September 8.

Turkington was remanded on his own bail of £200.
