Charged with making threats
Two charges of making a threat to kill and two assault charges were denied by a 24-year-old man last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
Phelim Leathem, Boconnell Lane, Lurgan, faces charges which are alleged to have happened on May 2 this year.
They are making a threat to kill a female, assault on the same female, making a threat to kill a male and assault on the same male occasioning him actual bodily harm.
Leathem elected to have the matter heard in the magistrates’ court and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The case was adjourned until January 18 next year for a contested hearing.
