Charged with theft
A 43-year-old local man has appeared before Banbridge Magistrates Court charged with theft.
John Andrew Thompson from Cavehill Road, Annaclone is charged with the theft of a field gate valued at 100 belonging to Alister Smyth on 7 April.
A Police Constable said she believed she could connect the accused to the charges.
Adjouring the case until May 13, District Judge Mr Paul Copeland told Thompson a response to the charge would be taken on that date.
