Charged with touching female
A 69-year-old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court charged with sexually touching a female without her consent.
Oswald Burke, Edenderry Fold, Portadown, had three charges put to him at a preliminary enquiry last Wednesday at the local courthouse.
The first alleges that on July 20 last year he intentionally touched a female, the touching was sexual and she did not consent.
Burke is also accused of assaulting the female and assaulting a police officer.
He was remanded on his own bail of £250 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on June 14.
