Charges withdrawn
An arson charge and a drugs charge against a 40-year-old Banbridge man have been withdrawn
Robert Foster, Hillhead Gardens, Banbridge, had been charged with destroying or damaging a car by fire on September 24, 2014. He was also charged with unlawful possession of a class B drug, Mephedrone.
A public prosecutor told Banbridge Magistrates Court sitting in Newry last Thursday that there would be no prosecution and the matters could be formally withdrawn.
