Charities campaign to ease suffering
Several organisations are appealing to the public for funds following the Nepal earthquake.
UNICEF has launched a $50.35 million appeal to get humanitarian assistance to children and their families. To donate, visit unicef.org.uk/nepal or text DONATE to 70123 to give £5.
To donate to Oxfam’s Nepal appeal, visit donate.oxfam.org.uk. The Red Cross is fundraising at http://www.redcross.org.uk/
