Charities receive almost £210,000 throughout 30 year duration of run

After 30 years the One World Run (formally known as the Third World Run) has come to an end and to mark the occasion Lord Mayor of Belfast, DUP representative Brian Kingston, hosted a function in his parlour at Belfast City Hall.

At this special ceremony, the final cheques were presented to Oxfam, Trocaire, Conern World Wide and Christian Aid.

These charities benefited to approximately £210,000 over the 30 years of the run.

The Belfast One World Run, from its inception, has focused on being a cross-community event aimed at assisting those in developing countries, enabling them to have a better quality of life.
