Charity boost thanks to golfers
A CARRICK golfer has swung into action at a charity fundraiser.
Denis Stronge, of Carrick Golf Club, lifted the best gross prize as Hilton Golf Club hosted the MindWise annual competition.
Raymond Gray organised the event on behalf of MindWise and the other nominated charity,Volunteer Now, Newtownabbey Be-Friending Scheme.
The event raised 1,750 for MindWise’s Annsgate Service and 1,150 for the Volunteer Now Centre.
