Charity car washfor UCF is asparkling success

A UCF spokesperson thanked Michael Irwin and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lisburn for raising the sum.

“A special thank you to all the staff, friends and family members who helped out on the day and a huge thank you to all the car owners who donated £4 to get their cars buffed and ‘wheely’ sparkly-clean” they said. Michael added: “I’d like to say a massive thanks to all the public who brought their cars along and donated so generously to this very worthy cause. Although the day was a considerable wash out (no pun intended) regarding the weather, our team of volunteers from Enterprise worked with the Ulster Cancer Foundation and a few other dedicated volunteers, to bring a much needed positive outcome to the day.

“Thank you to all involved for your time and also huge thanks to the Yellow Door Deli Lisburn for supplying food to keep the workforce going on the day.”

Michael continued: “The car wash raised £492, with the charitable foundation of Enterprise-Rent-A-Car contributing a further £1000 to the Ulster Cancer Foundation.”
