There is a minimum spec but a good rule of thumb is if the computer is under 10 years old and switches on they should be able to reuse it or some part of it.

Minimum specification is Pentium 3 processor, 256 MB RAM, 10GB hard-drive.

Camara will be collecting used computers from Sprucefield Shopping Centre Carpark on January 16 from 9.00am – 6.00pm.

"It costs us 50 to refurbish a computer and send it to Africa. Any contribution would be greatly received" said a spokesperson. "Anyone who would like more information can contact us on 90332470 or email:[email protected]"
